Running from 3rd April to 8th May.
10am - 4pm, Monday - Saturday - and at other times by prior appointment.
From the series put together in the late 1970's, Faucon uses shop window
dummies and children together in staged scenes depicting images from
an idyllic childhood. His 'children' sail home-made boats, fly kites
and celebrate in beautiful landscapes - seeming untroubled by older generations.
However these images are not entirely innocent but rather show an adult's
games, played out around the idea of a perfect childhood.
Bernard has had over 300 individual exhibitions since 1977 in Western
Europe, United States and Japan - with frequent shows at Leo Castelli,
New York, Agather Gaillard and Yvon Lambert, Paris.
We are delighted to be hosting this series of images by Bernard Faucon
a world renowned photographer.
