Charles Roff

Charles Roff was born in Scotland and spent his childhood growing up in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and Iran. He first came to Cornwall at the age of ten and studied Film and Photography in Nottingham at 17. Afterwards he exhibited his portraits, landscapes and nudes in the UK, France, Germany, the USA and Japan between the years of 1977 and 2002.

In the late seventies Charles established Foto-Roff and Crean Bottoms Productions, a publishing company for the production of high quality posters and postcards, selling his own work and that of other photographers across Europe.
In 1985 Charles founded Black and White Publications and opened a gallery in Covent Garden, London. This was successful for six years and returning to freelance photography in the early nineties, Charles took a number of various commissions. This led to an exhibition of landscapes for the National Trust Cable and Wireless, named "A Beach Story." Alongside this Charles photographed a series of nudes on the beaches of Cornwall.

He now produces limited edition Platinum prints for collectors and exhibits his work worldwide.
