Edward Davis was born in Surrey, south of London. Ed studied photography at Richmond School of Art in his early days, and later at Plymouth College of Art and Design. He has spent the last thirty-five years as a photographer and ran his own studio and laboratory in Guildford. He moved to Cornwall in 1990 to concentrate on fine art photography, which has always been his passion. Ed has exhibited both nationally and internationally, and recently held a solo exhibition of reportage photography that included images from the Middle East. The benefits of this were donated to the Save The Children charity. Ed has his own unique style of photography; his work is diverse with images ranging from Cornish Landscapes to Classic Nudes. He prints all his own work using techniques and materials long forgotten.
