Dinh Minh represents an original creative passion, with a unique and classic vision. His photography captures the peace, tranquility and natural beauty of the Vietnam of the past; this lends them their distinctive, gentle nostalgic quality. Among the serene moments depicted include humble fishermen, farmers and most strikingly, the elegance of Vietnamese women in their traditional costumes.
Dinh Minh is able to transport the viewer to the panoramic landscape from the perspective of the Vietnamese mother calmly holding her child, or through the eyes of the labourers working amidst the idyllic setting. It is from these perspectives that Dinh Minh’s passion and enthusiasm is evident, presenting the rural aesthetic of his country in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the cities such as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City of today.
